Visio Smartshapes

The Microplex products stencil contains Visio smartshapes of our current products making it a simple task to add them into Visio networking diagrams.

The Microplex products stencil was created with Visio Technical V4.1.

Steps to use shapes in drawings;

1. download ZIP file containing Microplex products stencil mplxprod.vss
2. extract mplxprod.vss from ZIP file.
3. open the mplxprod.vss stencil in Visio Technical (V4.1 or later)
4. drag and drop available product shapes into drawing
5. select the appropriate base model number (if prompted)

6. scale and position as required

You can add your own custom properties via each mastershapes shapesheet to easily integrate the Microplex product shapes into any existing reporting system.

Model Numbers

Each Microplex product has a base model number assignment which can be found on the product label affixed to the bottom of the unit.

To aid in selecting the correct model number for your smartshape when prompted refer to the following table.
(smartshape model numbers can also be changed by double clicking the shape or by the right mouse button sub-menu)
